Picture it: thousands of pumped up beer fans slinging back unlimited stouts from dozens of the world’s best craft breweries and watching live wrestling— while wearing t-shirts, sweatbands and fanny packs featuring a bunch of adorable candyland-inspired characters. For Other Half’s Pastrytown Beer Fest, I oversaw the creation of every design touchpoint before and during the festival. From the logo to character design, wristbands, large-scale vinyl wraps, hundreds of individual pieces of wayfinding signage, festival merch, a branded wrestling belt and more, Pastrytown was the first pastry-themed beer fest of its kind, and it sure was sweet.
